JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Review of legal document/drafts like petition, claims, written reply, rejoinders, deeds and any other legal draft on behalf of the Bank to be submitted before different courts/offices as per necessity,

  • Review all the security documents of the Bank and prepare fresh documents where and when necessary,

  • Review and provide advice on consortium finance, prepare and provide legal documents and legal way out as required,

  • Draft and review contract agreement, legal notice etc. for and on behalf of the Bank.

  • Provide advice to the Board, senior management, division/department or unit, the branches of the Bank on legal matters

  • Represent/defense the Bank to the courts and other judicial, constitutional and/or governmental or semi-governmental bodies on legal matters as a Banks lawyer

  • Act as a liaison between the bank and different level of court and other constitutional and legal bodies

  • Provide legal support in recovery and related legal actions in loan recovery process of the bank

  • Execute the decision of the court and other offices which is directly and indirectly concerned with Bank

  • Conduct legal audit of the Bank as and when required

  • Coordinate with external legal counsel of the Bank

  • Handle other responsibilities as assigned by higher authority

 

REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

  • Excellent Knowledge on Nepalese legal system, legislative and other legal provision as well as their amendmen

  • Excellent knowledge of Nepalese Legal and court system, laws relating to banking, Company administration, securities transactions, industrial relations, international trade and arbitration, NRB Directives, Circulars, Manuals of the bank and other applicable laws, rules and regulation.

  • Knowledge of drafting skills on contracts, legal deeds and related documents

  • High degree of professionalism and leadership quality

  • Good analytical, networking and communication skills

ROLE PURPOSE:

JOBS Description

  • A Manage and execute procurement of goods and services required for the organization following the guiding principles “Best Value for Money, Transparency, Accountability, Equal and Fair competition”.

  • Creating/Maintaining Procurement Plan and Sourcing Pipelines in coordinate with Finance and Program Department.

  • Advise organization of any changes government policies with regard to the logistic function that can affect the implementation of SCI- Funded project.

  • Take responsibility for the achievement of minimum standards in the programme. This will include ensuring appropriate practice in requisitioning, local purchase, clearance, transport, warehousing (including storage and stock control systems) and the issuing of supplies.

  • Ensure appropriate practice in supplier pre-qualification, tender processes, and asset disposal.

Minimum Qualification and experience:

Intermediate in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of Supply Chain sector.
